Yay! You are interested in hosting a workshop.
To host a workshop you need:
- A large fenced area. An outdoor arena or paddock works.
- Space to house up to six horses. There are six horses in a workshop, but I will put one on with only five. We have used electric pens or panels to make space for visiting horses.
- A power source. I bring my extensions chords, but I need somewhere to plug in my sound system.
- We often watch a video and if you are close by I can bring my own TV and stand. We just need a space to watch it.
- It’s nice if you have a pasture, but that’s not required. Sometimes we do exercises in the pasture too.
Kelly has hosted four workshops on Gabriola Island. See what she has to say below.
“Hosting the Liberty workshops here on Gabriola, with Heather, has been one of the best experiences of the year..the whole experience is so full. There is nothing like spending two days with like minded horse gals and guys and I am looking so forward to hosting clinics once again in 2016.”
“Everyone who has attend the workshops goes home with more confidence and awareness of them selves and their horses. It really is so inspiring to watch how it all evolves for each individual…..and all with good humour. It makes the work that goes into the weekends so worth it for me. Happy people and Happy horses!”
